The Project Progress Report is worth 20 points. The purpose of the progress report is a check point for issues on your topic, scope, and project progress. It gives me a chance to offer constructive comments, corrections, and suggestions.
The Project Progress Report should include:
- Your abstract from Week 2
- An outline or table of contents showing the coverage and structure of your paper
- A bibliography
Some students use this assignment as the starting point for creating their final paper. At this time you won't be done researching your topic. So your project outline/TOC may change as you continue your research. Nothing in your Week 5 progress report is set in stone.
Remember:
- Submit your research project progress status report in the drop box created for this assignment as a Microsoft Word document.
- I will deduct 5 points for any assignment submitted without your name.
- Plagiarism, Don't Do It! Plagiarism will result in a '0' for any assignment where it is detected.
